Click here to read the full post>> A Year in the Making!February 16, 2012 This week sees the mastermind group for Suffolk, one year old and it was a great meeting. Moving it from a Sunday to an 8.30am start during the week was a bit of a shock to some of the members, 4 of whom could not make it - bad diary management! But hopefully they will remember for next month! We had 2 guests who both found the morning "A useful spending of my time" and are thinking of becoming members. So from next month, we will have a new format, which we tried out today. It consisted of 3 hours of really interactive work, helping each other in discussions and brainstorming sessions, as well as co-coaching and working in pairs. This months theme was public relations concentrating on messages via media. At the end of the first session, each member had written up a press release for their product and to an editor of a relevant publication. Good work! We hope to grow the Platinum Group so please contact me, if you are interested in having that support. Our guest speaker is Ivan Newman from Living In the Brand who is a much valued friend and colleague. He will be talking about branding and then we will coach members on how to enhance their brand within their businesses. I know this is going to be so useful and powerful. This year will be the only times I will be letting in first time visitors for free. So make the most of this fabulous opportunity to listen to a branding expert. There will also be the usual question and answer session for members to support, offer advice or assist. This is the most valued part of our meeting and some great ideas have come forth. Click here to read the full post>> Conference Success!September 30, 2011 This is a quick note just so that I can show my appreciation to Dan, Kevin, fellow leaders and faculty members for the best conference I have ever attended. And that was before the end of Sunday as I had to leave early on the final day. The content was bright, more than useful, fun, creative and motivational. It really was a wow weekend. Christine Guy-Clarke is well known in the area for her brilliant training and content on Sales. This session will be on face to face selling and is not to be missed. The coaching session that I will be delivering will concentrate on the groups marketing strategy with particular focus on PR. We are also going to have a look at how everyone is faring in the competition to create the first product! if you are a first time guest, you can attend for free so there is no obligation to join. Click here to read the full post>> Happy HolidaysJuly 28, 2011 The Suffolk group will be meeting for a breakfast coaching session in the month of August, as we are a bunch of optimists that think the sun will shine every weekend! The purpose of the session will be purely coaching, a time for everyone to take stock of the progress made since we started the group in February, of which there has been so much to celebrate. All the guests and speakers have noted the great family atmosphere within the group and the standard of training coaching and support that each member receives. And that is just the beginning! So we are back with our usual meetings on 4th September with another great speaker who will show us how to write compelling copy, and I would love to hear from you in the meantime. Click here to read the full post>> Successes!May 25, 2011 The mastermind Group meeting 22nd May 2011 turned out to be the best yet. It was buzzy, creative, fun and so so useful. The workshop style and circle work is proving to be a winner with all the members and feedback has been great. All members have now either started a book or are developing a product and the support being given to each other is phenomenal! I thank them all for their commitment to this group. This week we had a marketing workshop to instigate great ideas for social media and websites, a session on Action Learning from one of the members and a pool of ideas in a round robin session on every member's barriers to progress or general questions. As the mornings and evenings grow lighter and as the last of the frosts disappear, there is a great feeling of a new beginning.
